Install the Codex app

Codex installs on your phone like an app: an icon on your home screen, full-screen opening, no app store needed. It's free and only takes a few seconds.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open codexby.app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button , at the bottom of the screen (or at the top on iPad).
  3. Scroll down and choose “Add to Home Screen”, then Add.

On Android

  1. Open codexby.app in Chrome.
  2. Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right.
  3. Choose “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).

On a computer

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon on the right of the address bar (a small screen with an arrow), then Install.

The app updates itself, along with the website. To remove it: long-press the icon, then “Remove”.
